Are these 20hr each one, in the picture it says 10hr?

They are each 10hr. 20 hr total.

Can these batteries be laid on their sides? They're going into a scooter, and the existing batteries are laid down with the label facing up.

I have 2 of these in my scooter, and they are both laying on their side and they work and charge great. This is what they are made for.
