The Sanitaire SC888K Commercial CRI Approved Upright Vacuum Cleaner is a powerful unit with a 7 Amp motor and a 12" cleaning path. It uses a paper bag that sits inside the outside bag. It does not have the ability to shut off the beater bar. The vacuum needs to be assembled by attaching the handle and the bag assembly to the base of the machine. The vacuum does not have a light. The fabric bag has an upright zipper in the back. The vacuum is made in Mexico, but parts come from global sources. Reviews suggest that the vacuum is a reliable commercial-grade product but some customers have noted issues with the motor fan and the brush. The product support is also reportedly poor.
