I bought mine in December 2012 and as of June 2013, there is no sign of dulling. They can be used daily without losing sharpness.

Can these be used for leather and other synthetic/natural cords?

These cutters are serrated and may not provide clean cuts for leather. They are best suited for Fireline and similar cords.

Can they get into tight spots?

They can cut close to beads without any cord sticking out, but their suitability for cutting between crimps is unknown.

Do the blades have teeth to help paracord stay in place while cutting?

No, the blades do not have teeth. They provide a straight cut.
