One of the most significant advantages of The Feather is its compatibility with various wireless devices from today's market. With regards to the sound quality, it performed well during tests, along with the capabilities of producing heavy metal sound while using it with an effects pedal. The Feather has a female plug that is identical in size to the electric guitar's plug, and it can be used to connect the preamp to an instrument cable. It comes with a battery that lasts hundreds of playing hours, and the cable runs from the saxophone to the preamp, which is worn on a belt or similar.
