DEFY Editorial Review

Defy Extreme Wood Stain is a thin, milky 1-gallon stain that hydrates, waterproofs and protects against mildew and UV damage. It can absorb readily into dry wood and requires two coats at a maximum of 20 minutes. The stain has different finishing colors to choose from like cedar, driftwood, butternut and crystal clear. While the product is ideal for Trex composite decking, it has limitations in use like not being advisable to use it over recently oil stained decks. Defy Extreme Wood Stain is user friendly, and it can be easily applied with a brush or sponge. After using Defy Extreme Wood Stain, the rain on a deck will typically bead well, but the longevity of the stain against the sun is yet to be determined.
