These little tabs are amazingly useful. I use them to secure pens and writing instruments inside my appt book cover (hidden) and attached to the inside but holding the writing instruments on the side of hard cover journals where they are secure and out of the way.

Does the loop fit a lamy safari?

It should. The band that goes around the pen is elastic and stretches quite a bit. I love these and have them on every journal. I'm thinking of adding one to my bedside table. I actually need another pack because I used them in the cars, too.

Is the loop big enough for wider pens? I use fountain pens and they’re Sharpie sized.

Can this pen holder hold pencils and mechanical pencils as well? Can I put it onto my MacBook Air laptop?

Hi! You can put these holders on anything that you can attach them to. I use mine in my daily planner to quickly access and find pencils, pens, and mechanical pencils. The clips can fold back into the notebook while holding the pens etc during transport providing free hands.
