While the caddy is mostly plastic, it does have a metal pole holding the top handle to the bottom. You can use the Dolphin Universal Caddy as a holding station for the power pack, cleaner, and hose, keeping everything neat and organised. The presence of a cover is essential if you're leaving it outside, but the vinyl cover may not last long in harsh weather. However, they offer an upgraded version with a more robust cover.
