Has anybody found a good alternative to the moonlight purple since it is now discontinued?

No! There is nothing like it! I have used moonlight color for years and had to turn to Amazon to continue to use it, due to unavailable at stores, but now the price is SO SO HIGH , I have to use something else. I have tried 5 to 6 different pencil colors trying to achieve this color with NO NO LUCK. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT. I hope they would bring it back.

I don’t know about the gold. I got the light purple. I do havea good gold chubby stick by NYX that is really bright. Good luck.

Does this work on your waterline under the eye?

Yes! It makes for a great highlighter. It’s not too strong though, so if you’re looking for something soft, this is a good choice.
