ECOS® Hypoallergenic Dishmate is a dish soap produced by Earth Friendly Products. Some customers reviewed that this product is not very effective as it takes several times more to accomplish the same task as other quality dish soaps. However, others think that the product is practical because it's for refills, the price is low, and it is gentle on hands. On the other hand, there is a concern about the product's packaging. Customers were misled by the photo of the product on the website, thinking it was environmentally friendly packaging and a refill for a smaller bottle. Upon arrival, they discovered that the packaging was wasteful and not at all what they had expected. The refillable bottle also uses excessive amounts of plastic, making the main bottle unnecessarily thick, and the first and final pours were incredibly awkward.
