The Ahead Spinal-G Drum Throne with Backrest in Black is a sturdy and comfortable seat for drummers. With its split seat and 3-4 inch thickness, it provides great comfort for extended sessions. The backrest is also a great addition for extra support during long gigs. However, the height of the backrest is not adjustable although it does have a little range of motion. The throne is detatchable and the legs can collapse but it still takes up space, which may be a concern for some drummers. The price of $261 includes the backrest which is not mentioned in the product description.
