The Wind Direction Sensor CALT YGC-FX is a reliable means of monitoring wind direction with accuracy from 0-360 degrees. The device has a sampling frequency above 200m and supports three different baud rates on its 485 device. It can also publish data at a specified interval through the port. The device can work with 24V DC input which is a correction on the supposed 5V DC input displayed in the model name. One drawback, however, is that buyers have to order for extra cables rather than use FBA, according to the seller. The device is also readily interfaced with Arduino for easy use.
