You can print anything a to z and 0 to 9.

Can this write accents on vowels, like in Spanish?

No, it doesn't have that feature.

Does this take ink cartridges? I can't find where they would be and it seems like I need to add some.

No ink cartridges, just label cassettes. If it doesn't electro-etch the letters on the plastic strip - it's broken.

What is the biggest tape size?

Only one width of tape, although it come in different materials.
