These projector headlights can replace halogen light bulb headlights on 2008-2012 Ford Escape models only.

Are these headlights approved by any governing body?

Yes, they are approved by DOT (Department of Transportation) & SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers).

Is the wiring modification required for the installation?

Some wiring modification might be required on the Halo and LED connection, and it is recommended to check with a professional mechanic before installation.

Do you send it with all the led light bulbs?

Only LEDs are what you see in the photo. They become DRLs. High and low are H1.

Are the high and low beams the same bulb?

Mine came with H1 in both: low and high, is this correct? or should I change bulbs?

Can aftermarket HID kits be installed using this assembly and why do you repeatedly put halogen only?

I installed H1 LED bulbs for high and low beam, so you should be able to also use HID.

My 2010 Escape does not have DRL, will the DRL strip work if I purchase the headlight assembly?

You can take it to Ford or use Forscan to turn on the DRLs. I did.

The headlights are easy to install and come with LEDs for DRLs, the high and low beams are H1. While it is possible to install after-market HID kits, the manufacturer repeatedly highlights that these headlights are for halogen bulbs only. Users have found that the lights completely change the look of their vehicle, are very bright, but require alignment after installation. However, one review noted that one of their high beams stopped working after just half an hour of use. **
