This 100% Essential Citronella Oil is versatile and can be added to soy for candle-making and used for many household applications, although it is not water-soluble. The shelf life of Citronella Oil is approximately 1-2 years when it is stored away from heat and light with a secure cap. Some customers used this oil to ward off pigeons and bugs, and it worked very well. Others, however, found the oil to be too strong and that it smelled like a cleaning product. There was also a complaint about the product arriving damaged during delivery.
