The Nippon America Digital HD TV Converter Box Recorder is a useful device that allows you to convert your old TV into a modern one. It is easy to install and comes with clear directions. The product is best suited for those who still have a VHS collection. You can watch a lot of channels on this device, and it also has a record function. However, it requires a memory stick (USB) plugged in. The timer record function has bugs with some customers reporting that it doesn’t work. Also, the remote does not have a direct access way to already recorded shows. The device keeps the time by the 24-hour clock and the program guide is quirky, not particularly useful, and best-suited to use as a digital to analog converter for a TV without a digital tuner.
