Hm, this product does give the eyelid a base. Just let it dry before you add eyeshadow. I'm not sure if it will make your eyelid smooth if it not. I just know it prevents oil from producing which in turn makes a creased free lid

I have seen this product on Ebay in a smaller size, but the one I buy from Amazon is 0.28 oz. I use it every and it lasts a long time. You will love this!

It goes on clear so you won’t be able to see anything. I like this best for my eyeshadows as it shows the true pigment of the shadow. Most eyeshadow bases have a tint and this does not.
