Yes, they probably will. You will need to be careful not to pull the tab off the shoes.

What tabs? Can you post a video of this thing in operation?

Western boots have a tab on the outside of the boot which enables you to hook the boots and pull the boot on without bending over. English boots have tabs on the inside that you don't see that you hook to pull the boots on.

The ones I purchased are exactly as pictured and they are 6 and 1/2 inches long from the wooden handle bottom to the bottom of the hook. They are perfect for me. I'm 6'1'' and they do the job for me.

Do boot pulls come in other lengths?

I sell two types and they are both the same length. I've never seen them offered shorter or longer than what I have found.

Will these work to pull the zipper up on boots?

Only if the zipper has a very ample ring. These are made to pull on horse riding or motorcycling boots using the leather ring they have at the rear.

Will these work for shorter boots that have a loop on the back at the top of the opening?

There is no reason I know of that would make them not work on shorter height boots. However, if the boot is already a tight fit, I would caution the first time you use them to make sure the loop is secure in the back of the boot.

I have riding boots....are there actually 2 pulls like the picture shows?

Yes, there are two pulls per package. They come in handy and you can keep them in different places. The pulls work great for both pulling boots on and off.

Will they work on insulated winter boots with rather large rubber heel-pull ons? They don't unlace.

The pull works, but it would depend if you have a high arch like mine. Rubber boots can be hard to get on then. It will in time cut through a heavy leather pull.

The picture shows wood handles. The description says the handles are plastic. Which is correct?

Mine were wood handles just as pictured.
