How can you tell which size to order?

There's a sizing guide on this page of the website: http://www.woodyknows.com/Products.asp They used to sell cheaper frames (without filters) for sizing purposes, but I don't see that on Amazon anymore. Based on my nose measurements, I initially ordered the IIIR, but I later figured out the IIIS fits better. My 'nares' are round, but the interior of my nose is narrower. In short, the sizing is tricky because all noses are different. But it's worth the effort. The filter has really helped me. Best of luck.

Does this item help reduce second hand smoke?

Please be kindly noticed that both of WoodyKnows nasal filters are expected to filter particles, such as pollen, dust, dust mites, mold spores, pet hair & dander, but can NOT filter odors, fragrance or this kind of chemicals. We are developing our odor eliminating filters which will be launched in 2-3 months and it mainly works for harmful gases, smoke, vehicle exhaust. For organic fragrance, e.g. fragrance of cosmetics, it works well but not for inorganic fragrance. Please stay tuned.

Is the combo pack the multi-size pack?

Mine was anyhow. New style with removable/replaceable filter.

I have year-round allergies. Should I get ultra breathable or nano super defense? How can I get them to fit right?

Super Defense is disposable, very well breathable and is to block particles >1 micron, such as pollen, dust, dander, mold, and germs. Ultra Breathable is reusable, ultra clearly breathable and is to block particles >18 micron, such as pollen. First-time buyers are recommended to order the multipack-(IR/IIR/IIIR) or multipack-(IS/IIS/IIIS).

Do these work for dust as well?

Yes. It blocks 90% medium-sized dust.
