This is pure animal fat, how long did you expect it to last before going bad? You could refrigerate it, and/or freeze it. But I would still avoid ordering large quantities at a time.

Does this need refrigeration after opening?

Even if it doesn’t say to refrigerate, I definitely would after opening. Will last much longer. The jar is not that big if you’re thinking of shelf space.

Don’t know how to answer that, other than “GOOD”!! Not a strong flavor, but works well to sauté.

Are these ducks raised pasture-free? or even cage-free?

Probably coming from different re-sellers. You will see oddities like that all the time. Verify that the 2 count is the same size as the single, and then just buy 2 of the single ones.

How long is it good for after Best Buy date

It never goes beyond the date in my house. Very good for roasting red and purple potatoes.
