They are definitely 4eee. Getting just 'W' in Avia's is almost impossible anymore.

I was dissatisfied with the product. The shoes were not as wide as I had hoped and it squeezed my toes. Also, the sole is high centered, so if you're looking for a flat step, don't get these.

Are they good for flat feet?

My size 12 feet are very flat and I have no problems doing my 2 mile exercise walks every other day.

Are these shoes really white? The Amazon picture looks cream or light beige.

The shoes are white with blue streaks. Or at least sufficiently white for my taste. Bearing in mind that there are different shades of the white color. Hope this was helpful.

I WOULD NOT RUN OR JOG IN THESE, NOT ENOUGH SUPPORT AND PADDING IN THE SOLE, AND THE ARCH IS NOT FOR RUNNING OR JOGGING.

The Avia Men's Avi-Union II Strap Service Shoe is a versatile shoe that can be used for walking, weightlifting, and other activities. Customers have used the shoe with an AFO for foot drop but some have found the shoe to run small. Some customers have also been dissatisfied with the width of the shoe and the squeezed toe feeling. The shoes have a level sole, making them comfortable for walking, but they are not suitable for running because they do not have raised heels. The shoe comes with Velcro which makes them easy to put on and take off. Some customers have expressed disappointment with the longevity of the shoe which gives way after a few months of use.
