The OTC 3980 750 Series Automotive Multimeter is a solid product overall, offering accuracy within the range needed for automotive diagnostics. While the ohm tone may be difficult to hear, the meter's functionality is satisfactory for most tasks. The backlight, however, has a short duration and would benefit from being tied to the meter auto-off function. Additionally, this meter is not recommended for outdoor use in hot environments as its plastic screen cover can deform. Overall, the OTC 3980 750 Series is a decent choice in its price range, but there may be better options available.
