The Walter Surface Technologies 15D044 Backing Pad Assembly is a good quality product that works well with angle grinders. It is a 4 ½ inch sanding disc pad that is true running and balanced. The pad is flexible enough to follow contours and stiff enough to not dig in, making it ideal for blending welds in bodywork without overheating the metal. However, the nut that comes with the product is made of a cheap aluminum/zinc alloy that may not last very long.
