It is made from 100% cotton, although it is unclear whether it is organically grown. The rug can be washed in cold water and hung to dry to avoid shrinkage. Some customers complain about the dyed colors bleeding after washing. The rug is not recommended for active vinyasa or strength practice as it slips. However, it is suitable for slow restorative and yin practices.
