The DMT Dia-Sharp Fine knife sharpener is a diamond stone sharpener that is made for finishing purposes instead of reprofiling. The stone has a low grit that brings a 15-micron finish on blades, which is decent for a sharpening stone. However, the stone wears out quickly, leaving no abrasives with only a few sharpenings. The stone's uneven surface sometimes creates bumps and bald spots that can damage the blade rather than sharpen it. Examining the stone carefully before using it would ensure that it doesn't scratch the blade's surface and saves hours of sharpening time. Apart from its flaws, the DMT Dia-Sharp Fine knife sharpener's size and form factor are the Pros of the product. The sharpening experience is fun and comfortable, contributing to speeding up the entire process.
