The ExtremeRate PS5 Controller Faceplate Replacement has received mixed reviews. The color is applied with a protective paint and it fits the V2 controller well, but the buttons may be harder to press and the clear coat can peel. The installation is a tedious process, especially for the touchpad as it requires heating the circuit board with a hairdryer or heat gun. Despite the difficulty, the product looks and feels great, and the installation video is easy to follow. The product does not fit the CFI-ZCT1W with A model controllers. Some users had difficulty with the installation process due to different screws and ribbon and pin cables, while others had issues with the touchpad button not fitting properly. In general, the product is suitable for those who are patient and have experience with small tools and parts.
