The Brother MFC-J985DW XL Inkjet Printer is a wireless printer with Amazon Dash Replenishment Ready functionality. One user reported they have used it for six months and have only used one set of cartridges printing 20 to 30 pages per day. The ink technology that Brother uses is Innobella which is light-fade and ozone-fade resistant. The photo quality is good, and it comes with professional glossy inkjet photo paper. However, it may have a slight blue bias, which can be corrected with Brother's photo settings. The printer is not great for printing on cardstock, and it wastes a lot of ink. One con is that the printer jams up and is quite frustrating. There is also no support from Brother if replacement parts are needed. Another user warned that the scanner does not scan front/back. The paper tray holds only a little capacity, and the detachable piece for keeping paper from falling off becomes dislodged. However, some users have reported using this printer for business purposes and have found it to be very inexpensive.
