Ryobi recommends a 4 ah battery. I have the standard 1.5 ah battery. Wondering if anyone can advise on the performance when using a 1.5 ah battery.

It works just fine with a 1.5ah battery. I filled up 4, 35" tires from 15 to 25psi and the battery lost about 30% of its charge. All the 4.0ah battery would do is make it run longer.

Im going to be using this for a 2 and 1/2 gallon pressure pot at about 50 psi. I see people saying its not great for big jobs. Will this be suitable?

Not going to be powerful enough to blow out RV lines. Your going to need something with a bigger tank for that.

RYOBI 18V ONE™ 1 Gallon air compressor

The Ryobi 18V ONE™ 1 Gallon air compressor is a great product for small jobs, such as blowing off tools and vac filters, or inflating tires. It works with a 1.5ah battery and a 1/4” hose, and can be used for hobby airbrushing. However, it is not powerful enough for bigger jobs such as blowing out RV lines. Some customers have noted that it takes a while to fill up the tank, and its customer service is lacking. Nonetheless, many customers have found it to be a useful and effective tool for their needs.
