My speakers and headphones make a pop noise whenever turning it on, Can I just leave it on with the lowest volume when not using it?

The reason for the popping noise when the amplifier is turned on is that it does not have a capacitor in line with the power supply. In theory, such a thing could cause damage to a speaker, if the 'signal' overloads the power ratings of the speakers, but in practice, this is not very likely. The bigger issue, to my mind, is that if you're wearing headphones and the volume is turned up, you may expose your ears to a rather loud pop, which could be harmful. So, yes, you could avoid the problem by not turning the unit off but only turning the volume down. I would still recommend, however, the step of putting your headphones on only after you have plugged them in, and if you do turn the amplifier off, putting your headphones on only after you have turned the unit back on.

I bought 8 of these and we have tried several. And we have tried using difference stereo cables. No matter what we do left side only?

Mine works fine. Please check the source, sometimes happens that there is a problem with the setup. Just put some basic headphones with volume and check that the source is sounding fine, complete.
