Abatron LiquidWood 2 Pint Kit – 2-Part Structural Epoxy Wood Hardener and Consolidant Resin

The Abatron LiquidWood 2 Pint Kit is a two-part epoxy wood hardener and Consolidant resin that has a light amber color. When used on upward-facing ends of wood, the resin fills in all the cracks and works well to salvage timbers, as reported by satisfied historic building owners. The product is able to produce structural results, enabling screws to be anchored where deep cracks or rotting damage was previously found. The Abatron LiquidWood dries in 30-60 minutes and cures/hardens in almost 4-5 days in warm weather. However, some buyers experienced issues with the curing process and found that the product did not work as advertised, sometimes staying tacky for extended periods of time. It is important to note that the Abatron LiquidWood may not be ideal for filling joints and imperfections on hardwood floors as it will not take stain and will stand out like a sore thumb once finished. Additionally, it can be drippy, so caution is necessary when using it on anything other than a horizontal surface.
