The In-Ground Sprinkler System comes with a hose watering timer and is easy to install. Customers have reported that it works well and the timer is a great addition. The system requires at least 8 inches of digging in the grass and needs to be flushed out with compressed air close to winter. Users have also used a 3HP compressor to winterize the system. The sprinklers come pre-set with a 180-degree pattern but can be adjusted to go 360 degrees. One downside is that the sprinkler heads spray out a solid stream of water in an arc pattern, which creates circles in the yard with no green grass in the middle. The fittings that come with the system are said to be the worst by design. Customers have used pex fittings to make the system work. Also, there are no end caps in the system, and they have to be ordered separately. This system may not be suitable for covering a large area as customers said that the 6-head system only covers up to 1000 sq ft.
