YCS basics Editorial Review
This DB9 serial cable comes in a length of 100ft of 28AWG conductors. The cable is not shielded but basic shielding is present to prevent EMI interference. It has straight-through wiring, and all nine pins are connected. The connectors are 1.5 inches wide, and 5/8 inches tall. The cable is not suitable for automotive plant environments. If the application requires a null modem cable, this cable will not work. Generally, reviewers have been satisfied with the quality of the cable.
