Distance between mounting plate and vertical portion is 10-11" height of vertical is 19"

Can this support a 10 foot mast with a 10lb antenna on the end?

Yes, I used it for a 10" comet ham antenna and it holds it well. If you mount with 4 -1/4 inch lag bolts, you can do chin ups on it (assuming you weigh less than 500 lbs!)

Will this hold about 10 lb of load (a 3.3 lb vertical diamond x300a ham antenna and a 6.5 lb antop sbs-802 tv antenna)?

I also put an X 300 antenna on that mount. And I know it can take more weight than that. I think you’re going to be good with 10 pounds.

In the image shown, the pole flares out at the end. Is the 1-5/8" diameter measured at the end, or the rest of the J-shaped pole which is skinnier?

1 5/8 the top 4in, than 1 1/2 for the rest of the mount.

Does this come with a cap to cover open hole on top? Thanks

Nope. No cap. I capped mine with a rubber cap from my working life.

Is the mounting end (bracket) adjustable?

No, its fixed. You mount the mast with one lag bolt and pivot it so the mast is level and insert the other X3 lag bolts. Dan DRM Products Inc.
