The Powerbuilt 640841 12-Inch Drive 27mm Deep Socket is a durable socket which is suitable for various purposes. It is a 6 point socket and comes in a 27mm deep and 1/2" drive size made in Taiwan. The socket has a usable depth of 1 1/8 inches with a wider cavity past the hex shape, added in, stops at around 1 3/4 inches. The socket can handle a maximum force until it breaks. The 27mm is slightly larger than 1-1/16 inches but technically the same depending on manufacturing tolerances. The socket doesn't have a shoulder that would prevent the removal of a sensor.
