The IrriFix Rain Bird Maxi-Paw 2045A Impact Rotor Sprinkler is a great solution for extremely hard and sandy conditions, and can be easily repaired or replaced while leaving the shell in the ground. It is easy to install, with both 3/4" and 1/2" inlets on the bottom and an overall length of 9 1/2". It has interchangeable spray tips and works nicely in series on a dedicated 3/4" main line with 60 psi. The units should go "back and forth", but if they get stuck or are broken, they can be replaced.
