Question : What would be the best size for pulling off a bike crank arm?
Answer : This size worked well, but I had to modify it a little. I needed the vertical arms to be a little closer together so I slide 3 oversized nuts at the head end and then screwed the bolt back in. I also used a pair of vice grip pliers to hold the vertical arms in place on the crank arm. I also switched out the crank arm bolt for a Phillips head screw for the center bolt to screw against and stay centered.
