Question : How long does the battery charger keep batteries charged?
Answer : The battery charger keeps batteries charged all season long.
Question : Is the solar panel easy to install?
Answer : Yes, the solar panel easily clips in place and adjusts to the best angle for optimum solar power.
Question : What materials are used to make the solar panel?
Answer : The solar panel is made with premium-quality aluminum, steel flex-conduit, and durable polycarbonate front cover.
Question : What is the approximate length of the flexible conduit? How much longer are the red & black leads?
Answer : I would guess the conduit about 2 feet and leads come out 10 or so inches past that.
Question : How many Watts are produced buy the Wild Game Innovations 12-Volt eDRENALINE Solar Panel?
Answer : Using Ohms law, you would multiply amperage times volts to get watts. For instance a 12 volt circuit drawing 2 amps would consume 24 watts of power (12*2=24). A 60 watt light bulb powered by 120 volts in a house would draw .5 amp of current (60/120= .5).
Question : How many amperes or watts is this solar panel?
Answer : .07 amps per volt - 18V nominal voltage = 1.26 Watts maximum output.
Question : Can you leave this attached to the battery all the time? I know a bigger solar config needs a charge controller to protect battery.
Answer : Bought this same charger at Academy Sports and installed it on my atv agm battery. It's been 6 years great years since i had to buy new battery. Battery size was etx-14 for 2005 Honda Rancher. Output on the packaging said 750ma. Keep in mind that's full direct sunlight so output would be variable.
Question : Will it charge 2 six volt batteries daisey chained together to supply 12 volt output?
Answer : After drawing out the schematic would have to say no. Reason is when you connect the two batteries in a series (or daisy chain), the positive terminal of one battery is connected to the negative terminal of the other. You would then have to connect the leads from the charger to the remaining positive and negative bayyery terminals so the charger would actually see 12 volts, not six as designed. Not only might this burn up the charger, at best the two batteries would only ever receive a 6 volt charge. Id say you need a 12-volt charger.
Question : I need to replace solar chargers for my individual outdoor lights they say they are 4 vdc max will this 6 v work as a replacement?
Answer : This solar panel will produce a little more than 6vdc in the sunlight. Which is 2vdc more than your lights max vdc. You could try it but it may ruin your lights. Depending on the cost of the lights if it’s worth giving it a try.
Question : Some feeders have two batteries should you use one panel and alternate the charger or use two solar panels for the one feeder?
Answer : I've tried it both ways and two chargers worked the best
Question : Would this work for maintaining a deep cycle 12v battery for an electric fence? (I live in NM)
Answer : Not a chance. I have it on a small MC battery to try and run a piddly fan - which it can't do.
Question : I have a game cam that runs off of 8 aa, there is a plug on the cam for a panel. the batteries act as a backup. it calls for a 6v panel. will this work?
Answer : If it is a 6 volt panel it will work fine one thing it will need is a diode that way it won't back feed at night I found out the hard way lo
