This replacement motor is designed for the Ryobi weed eater 40v power head. It is easy to install, and be sure to watch a YouTube video to make it even easier. It can be a bit of a tight fit and requires some soldering, but overall, it works well. Customer feedback suggests that this product lived up to its intended purpose. It was easy to install and worked like a charm. One customer mentioned saving a lot of money by not buying a new weedwhacker. However, there were some negative comments about the product not fitting other models, missing an internal cooling fan, and arriving with wires cut.
