Do wheels turn freely or with the axle?

Each wheel has two bearings it turns on. The axle does not turn with the wheel.

How big are the wheels?

They are 4.10/3.50-4. They are 300 lbs load at 30 psi, tube type, with ball bearings.

Can this be used to make a cart for a large Yeti style cooler?

If you were planning on attaching this straight to the cooler then I do not know. If you were going to make a platform out of plywood for the cooler to sit on then absolutely. I took a 3x7 sheet of 3/4in plywood and attached these wagon wheels to it using some bolts(not included with the wagon wheel set) and I have had hundreds of pounds on it before. Is a great all around cart for yard/garage work.

How much can they carry?

I welded mine to a smoker that has to weigh 400-500 pounds. If you are carrying heavy loads, pay attention to the wheel base because its a little narrow for tall heavy loads.

How high is it from the ground to the top of the mount?

The height of the wagon kit from the ground to the top of the mount is 11 1/2".

Does anyone know the bolt pattern for this setup?

Each axle has 2 holes for mounting to the body of your wagon. The rear axle then has two additional holes to attach stabilizer arms to body.

Can I use this to replace the undercarriage of the standard metal garden carts w/ the drop sides? Our wheels & axels have rotted but the top is fine.

This undercarriage is designed to fit on most Millside wagons that have 8" and 10" diameter wheels. It will fit on model 03580 wagon made by Millside but the axle is 1" shorter so your existing wheels will not work. Also the wheels that come with this kit are smaller in diameter than the factory original wheels on the 03580 wagon. I would recommend calling Millside and arranging to email pictures to verify that you have a Millside wagon because this undercarriage will not work on the wagons made in China without modifications.

Industries Wagon Undercarriage

The Millside Industries Wagon Undercarriage is a great product for anyone looking to make a platform or cart for yard/garage work.
