Can you cut out pieces for outlets?

Yes! I had to cut out pieces to fit around the sockets, including cutting the actual metal squares down to size, not just cutting the whole squares. Make sure you have heavy duty scissors on hand, I had basic scissors that didn't do the job and had to upgrade.

Is there a protective coating on the brushed aluminum tiles? Wondering about aluminum corrosion on the tiles. Thinking about bath vanity backsplash.

I just put it up this morning above my kitchen sink and over the stove. I hope it doesn't corrode, but I'm not sure I'd put in a bathroom where there is steam collecting on mirrors daily.

Can these be stuck to textured walls?

I haven't tried, but these are extremely sticky. So depending on how textured your walls are, I would say they would.

If I put contact paper before putting tile up would these be easy to remove?

It's extremely sticky contact paper under the tile. It grabs the surface, and there's no chance to adjust it. I would think it would be very hard to take off cleanly.

Will these work on the wall behind a cook top stove?

We only had wood as back plash on where the counter is and behind our stove top in our RV. put the tiles all the way around the cooking area very happy with it so far. Be sure you have it exactly where you want it because one stuck on very hard to get off. We could e-mail picture if it would help.
