    Have any Query?

    Customer Questions & Answers

    • Question : Are the O2 oxygen sensor plugs included?
Answer : No, the O2 oxygen sensor plugs are not included and must be purchased separately.
    • Question : Do I need the Fuelpak Fuel Management System for installation?
Answer : It is highly recommended to use the Fuelpak Fuel Management System, especially for engines with electronic fuel injection.
    • Question : Are metal exhaust port gaskets included?
Answer : No, metal exhaust port gaskets are not included with the Dresser Duals and must be purchased separately.
    • Question : Will this product fit my 1997 Road King FLHR, carbed?
Answer : Sure they'll fit. I installed these myself and I'll tell you now you'll need the O2 sensor plugs and possibly new exhaust gaskets and snap rings.
    • Question : Will this fit Harley Trike 2014?
Answer : I installed them on my 2008 street glide, I would have to think that a trike would have different exhaust than a 2014 bike would. Contact Harley direct to confirm if a dual pipe system meant for a bike would bolt up to a trike. I can tell you that I love the product, I have their fuel managment system, an Arlen ness big sucker air filter kit and Reinhart slip ons. This combination creates a good deal of additional power and has a great sound.
    • Question : Will the product fit my 1995 Roadking?
Answer : Not sure. Have you tried Vance and Hines website or try calling them? You should only need the part number listed and your bike info.
    • Question : Do I need a power commander for my 2001 road king?
Answer : As I understand it, you only need to tune for air coming in. Not going out. I just bolted them on without any adjustment. Seems fine.
    • Question : Are these true duels?
Answer : The set I got 2 years ago for my 96 Electra glide classic were true duels. Rear cylinder exits under left saddle bag, front cylinder under right saddle bag. The 2 pipes were not connected in any way. Yes, they are true duals.
    • Question : Can I install these on a 2014 street glide?
      Answer : They won't fit. You need V&H part # 16849.
    • Question : Will it fit my 92 Fat Boy?
Answer : I don't think so. They are slip ons though.
    • Question : I did not receive the heat shields in the main box, how do I get the heat shields?
Answer : Mine were in the box sounds like somebody shorted you.

Vance & Hines Dresser Duals Exhaust Chrome 16799

The Vance & Hines Dresser Duals Exhaust 16799 has garnered a mix of enthusiasm and some reservations from customers regarding its performance and installation process. Many users have praised the distinct sound and performance improvements these dual exhausts bring to their bikes. Riders often describe the new sound as a "growling" or "deep rumble" that enhances the overall riding experience, creating a more satisfying auditory presence without being overwhelmingly loud. Notably, several customers have highlighted an increase in power across all RPM ranges, which they believe contributes to improved fuel efficiency—some reporting mileage improvements to around 45 MPG after installation. The cooling effect of removing the stock crossover pipe has also been a significant plus for many, making rides more comfortable, especially in traffic. Installation has been described as relatively straightforward, taking approximately three hours for most riders, given they have a basic understanding of mechanical tasks. However, a common critique relates to the installation instructions, which some users found vague, leading to installation challenges—especially concerning rear exhaust mounting and the use of clamps. While some experienced issues, many were able to resolve these with patience and mechanical intuition. On the downside, while there is an appreciation for the aesthetics and sonic benefits of the exhaust, a few customers voiced concerns about the robustness of the clamps supplied with the kit and the need for additional parts like gaskets. This suggests that potential buyers should be prepared for a bit of additional work or investment. In summary, the Vance & Hines Dresser Duals Exhaust system generally receives positive feedback, particularly for its sound, performance enhancements, and cooling effects, but comes with some caveats regarding installation guidance and component durability. **
