The Torani Mango syrup can be used to make smoothies but you would need to have a base (such as ice cream, yogurt, real fruit smoothie mix) as well. We typically say to add 2 Tbsp. of Torani to 8 oz. of liquid.

Is red or black raspberry taste?

Taste like red raspberry not black raspberry for sure...tried to find this in my neighborhood grocery stores, but no luck.

Will this work for shaved ice?

Yes, all the Torani fruit flavored syrups will work with shaved ice.
