I ordered memory foam (yes I made sure to select it specifically and was charged extra due to that selection) and still received egg crate. Very disappointed.

1) The standard orthopedic foam is the egg crate foam. 2) The memory foam is approx 3 in medical grade solid foam topped with approx 1 in memory foam. Total 4 inches of foam. 3) The gel foam is approx 3 in medical grade solid foam topped with approx 1 in gel-infused memory foam. Total 4 inches of foam. You were wise to ask. People often don't read enough.

Is it better to get a large or jumbo for a 65 lb lab?

I would recommend jumbo. I have a 53 lb husky shepherd mix and she has room in the large. Yeah, jumbo is what I'd get if my dog was larger than she is.

Where is the bed manufactured and where are the materials from?

The bed is manufactured at our warehouse in Kentucky, and our covers are sourced from China.

Does the deluxe chaise memory foam have a gel foam as well? What is the thickness?

Sounds like those that got the egg crate ordered therapeutic, and the other is a gel foam. Just be sure to order the version you want.

Is there any way to clean the foam part?

I wash it outside with the hose and soap and air dry it.

Is medium big enough for a 16 lb. and an 8 lb. dog to share?

Yes, this bed is big enough for a Great Dan.

How can I purchase a full 4 inch memory foam?

I had gotten one that was better foam than this one, but the problem on those is the covers fit so tightly you end up ripping them and the zipper ends up breaking when trying to put covers on and off for washing. I have found that to be true with all of those. Our dog loves this and it's pretty good for support.
