The DBR Tech Heavy Duty Brass Shut Off Valve is a garden connector attachment with rubber washers for outdoor lawn and gardening hoses. It has leak-resistant threading and is made of all brass. It can possibly be used to stop leaks in a spivot as long as it's just the old valve that's leaking. The flow-through size of the valve is about 3/8 of an inch, and it's suitable for a power washer for water flow, to which a sprayer can also be attached. The valve comes with a roll of teflon tape to assure a good seal. Customers have reported issues with the valve stem not turning at all, the lever being difficult to turn on and off, it leaking even after using the rubber washers, and it being cheaply made. Some have had to use pliers to turn it on and off, and others have had to wrap the lever in a cloth to avoid scratching it. One customer reported replacing it for one with a larger lever for on and off, while another reported problems with its use in filling animal troughs. Overall, the attachment is durable and well-built, but it can be difficult to use.
